Susan Kiran, currently serving as Secretary to Cabinet, has been appointed as the Permanent Secretary for Information. This decision has been made with the approval of Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka. According to PSC Chairman Luke Rokovada, Kiran will continue her responsibilities as Secretary to Cabinet alongside her new role. The appointment will take effect on Monday, September 2, 2024.
