President Ratu Wiliame Katonivere has officially launched the 2024 Corona Fiji Pro today. In his remarks, President Katonivere expressed gratitude to the event’s organizers, acknowledging the significant effort, dedication, and financial resources invested in bringing this World Tour Competition to Fiji.
He highlighted that, like all sports, surfing is driven by passion. Over the next three days, attendees will celebrate a sport that embodies the pure joy of riding waves and the deep connection between people and nature, while also witnessing remarkable athleticism and grace.
The competition features 12 women and 24 men from 12 different countries, all of whom received best wishes for success from President Katonivere as they prepare to compete.
