Surf’s Up: Exciting Partnerships Announced for 2024 Fiji Pro!

The World Surf League (WSL) is thrilled to announce the return of the 2024 Corona Fiji Pro, along with an expanded lineup of local and international partners.

As they gear up for Stop No. 9 of this year’s Championship Tour (CT), the WSL is collaborating with new Fijian partners alongside several existing global sponsors.

WSL APAC President Andrew Stark expressed enthusiasm about these partnerships. “The WSL is so excited to be returning to Fiji this year, and we’re proud to announce that we will be working with more Fijian partners than ever before,” Stark stated. He emphasized that collaborating with local businesses would ensure positive results for the event and benefit the athletes and the community in Fiji, who play a crucial role in making the event possible. Stark expressed gratitude to both new and returning partners for joining them on this journey back to Fiji, looking forward to the Championship Tour’s return to Cloudbreak this August.

Corona has signed on as the title sponsor for the event, with Bonsoy as the presenting partner. Jack’s of Fiji will serve as the Official Apparel Partner, producing exclusive event merchandise to be sold at a pop-up store at Denarau Harbour.

Fiji Airways has been named the Official Airline, featuring prominently in on-site signage and broadcasts, while highlighting surfers’ equipment. The Fiji Broadcasting Corporation will ensure that the event is broadcast nationwide on free-to-air channels, allowing all Fijians to experience the action.

“Fiji Airways has joined forces with the WSL to become the Official Airline of the Corona Fiji Pro Presented by Bonsoy. Fiji Airways will appear across on-site signage and broadcasts, introducing the ‘Fiji Airways Board Check-in’ integration to showcase the equipment surfers are using, inspiring fans to plan their next surf trip to Fiji,” Stark concluded.
