The World Surf League (WSL) is thrilled to announce the return of the 2024 Corona Fiji Pro to Fiji, featuring an expanded lineup of both local and international partners. In preparation for the upcoming Stop No. 9 on this year’s Championship Tour, WSL will collaborate with various new Fijian partners alongside numerous existing global partners.

Andrew Stark, WSL APAC President, expressed enthusiasm for the upcoming event. “The WSL is very excited to be going back to Fiji this year, and we are proud to report that we will be collaborating with more Fijian partners than ever before,” Stark said. He emphasized the significance of working with local businesses, stating that it will yield excellent results for the event, the athletes, and most importantly, the people of Fiji, who play a crucial role in making this event a reality. Stark thanked both new and existing partners for joining them on this journey back to Fiji and looked forward to the Championship Tour’s return to Cloudbreak this August.

Corona has agreed to be the title partner for the event, with Bonsoy taking the role of presenting partner. Jack’s of Fiji will serve as the Official Apparel Partner and is set to produce exclusive event merchandise, which will be available at a pop-up store located at Denarau Harbour.

Fiji Airways will act as the Official Airline, featuring prominently in on-site signage and broadcasts while showcasing the surfers’ equipment. The Fiji Broadcasting Corporation will ensure widespread coverage, allowing Fijians to follow the event live on free-to-air channels.

“Fiji Airways has teamed up with WSL to become the Official Airline of the Corona Fiji Pro Presented by Bonsoy. The airline’s branding will be present across on-site signage and broadcasts, including the ‘Fiji Airways Board Check-in’ integration, which will highlight the surfers’ gear to inspire surf fans to prepare for their next surf trip to Fiji,” Stark added.
