Supporters Unite: Solidarity March Tomorrow

The Fiji Solidarity March for Kanaky (New Caledonia) and West Papua will take place tomorrow, starting from Rodwell Road and concluding on Constitution Avenue in front of Parliament.

This significant walk, organized by the NGO Coalition on Human Rights and the Fiji Women’s Crisis Centre, aims to support the indigenous communities of New Caledonia and West Papua. The event has the backing of the Pacific Conference of Churches and the Pacific Network on Globalisation.

The coalition has confirmed that permit applications have been approved by the Fiji Police Force, Fiji Roads Authority, and Suva City Council. The march is set to begin at 10am.

Participants are reminded to comply with the permit conditions set by the Police, which stipulate that flags for Israel or Palestine cannot be included in the procession.
