Asian Development Bank (ADB) representatives paid a courtesy visit to Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, Strategic Planning, National Development, and Statistics Professor Biman Prasad today.
During the visit, Director General of the Pacific Department Leah Gutierrez and Regional Director of the Pacific Sub Regional Office Aaron Batten provided updates on ongoing support for various sectors. These included updates on the water sector, coastal operations, health, roads, bridges, and private sector financing.
Professor Prasad expressed gratitude for ADB’s support, highlighting the institution as a key strategic partner for development. He noted the enduring relationship between ADB and the country, which has spanned over five decades since 1970.
