Two of the three men apprehended in connection with a supermarket robbery in Laucala Beach earlier this week have now been officially charged. The first suspect, a 51-year-old resident of Valelevu, and the second, a 43-year-old from Suva, are both facing four counts of Aggravated Robbery.
Today, these individuals are scheduled to appear before the Nasinu Magistrates Court. Meanwhile, the third suspect has undergone questioning and has since been released.
The legal proceedings will be closely monitored as communities seek justice and reassurance following the incident. It’s a reminder of the law enforcement’s efforts to address crime in the area effectively.
As developments unfold, there’s hope that the community can come together to strengthen safety measures, ensuring that local businesses and residents feel protected.
