Three individuals are currently in police custody following their suspected involvement in an aggravated robbery at a supermarket in Laucala Beach that took place yesterday.
After police received the report, a specialized team from the Southern Division was quickly assembled to track down the suspects, who reportedly threatened staff and customers using weapons during the incident. They made off with cash and various items before abandoning their vehicle, which was later discovered in Tacirua.
The three suspects were apprehended yesterday afternoon and are being held at the Valelevu Police Station as the investigation into the robbery continues.
