Two of the three individuals accused of breaking into Alison Supermarket at Laucala Beach on Monday morning are scheduled to appear in the High Court in Suva next Friday. Leone Lesumailepanoni, aged 43, and Sosiveta Raura, 51, attended a court session before Magistrate Charles Ratakele yesterday, where they faced four counts of robbery each.

It is reported that the pair, in conjunction with a third suspect, allegedly entered the supermarket armed with cane knives, threatening the cashier to empty the cash register. The third suspect has since been released by police following the investigation. Magistrate Ratakele has ordered that the two men remain in custody until their next court date.

This incident highlights ongoing concerns about safety and crime in the area; however, it also reflects the prompt actions of law enforcement in addressing the situation and ensuring that those responsible are brought to justice. As the case approaches its next stage, it is essential for the community to remain vigilant and supportive of measures that promote safety and stability.

In summary, two men face serious robbery charges linked to a supermarket break-in, while authorities continue to manage the case and ensure community safety.
