Sunny Weather and Strong Turnout: A Recap of the Golf Event

The weekly Stapleford event at the Vatuwaqa golf course yesterday enjoyed beautiful weather and attracted a total of 80 participants.

Sponsored by Abit Hussain Transport, the event also saw the participation of 10 junior grade players.

Team player Jerome Kado commented on the fantastic sunny weather in Suva, which was a welcome change from recent rainy days.

With an early start to the competition, Kado anticipates a competitive atmosphere as more golfers arrive at the course.

“We played early in the morning, so other golfers will come later, making for a competitive event as we expect some great golfers to join us,” said Kado. “The sun shone brightly, and the golf course looked impeccable.”

Kado enjoyed his time on the course with friends and appreciated the opportunity to participate in a few golf competitions during the weekend.

Looking ahead, Kado is optimistic about the future of the event and hopes for an even larger turnout in upcoming competitions.

“I am hopeful for an even larger turnout in the future and look forward to seeing more players join us and have a great time on the course,” he said.

He expressed his gratitude to Fiji Golf and the event sponsors for organizing the tournament and is eagerly awaiting the next opportunity to gather with fellow golf enthusiasts and enjoy a day at the course.
