The Social Democratic Liberal Party’s (SODELPA) Acting President Roko Apenito Kolikata has passed away following a short illness over the weekend.
The Party, in a statement, said: “It is with great sadness that we announce the untimely passing of our Social Democratic Liberal Party Acting President Roko Apenito Kolikata Na Vunivalu Taukei Nacibawale ena vanua o Naibati.”
“Roko Apenito passed away suddenly this past weekend, and his passing has brought great grief and loss to the SODELPA community at large.”
Roko Apenito was a vibrant member and executive of the Party, having played a leading role in running its affairs.
He was appointed Acting President following the death of Party President Ratu Manoa Roragaca earlier this year.
