John Rabuku, the Acting Director of Public Prosecutions, will vacate his office at midnight tonight after receiving a formal revocation of his appointment earlier this week. Rabuku confirmed that he received the letter from the Office of the President, which advised him of the revocation.

Rabuku noted that he has already met with the Judicial Service Commission and received the President’s letter formally revoking his acting appointment. The revocation takes effect from midnight tonight.

Expressing gratitude to his diligent staff, Rabuku encouraged them to continue their hard work and remain steadfast in their roles as top-tier prosecutors.
