Subrail Park in Labasa is officially set to host the second leg of the 2026 Pillay Garments Champion vs. Champion series, following confirmation from the Labasa Town Council that the facility will be ready for the match. This update dispels previous uncertainties regarding the venue’s readiness.

Fiji FA Competitions Manager Shaniya Shankar announced the news, stating, “We have received confirmation from the Labasa Town Council that Subrail Park will be ready and playable for the second leg of the Pillay Garments Champion vs. Champion series.”

The first match of the series will feature Extra Premier League champions Rewa FC taking on Extra BOG champions Labasa FC on February 8 at Ratu Cakobau Park in Nausori, starting at 3 PM. The crucial second leg is scheduled for February 14 at 1:30 PM in Labasa, where local fans will have the opportunity to cheer for their home team.

Anticipation is building for both legs of this exciting series, which promises to showcase top-level football talent and foster community spirit in the region. With the preparations underway, both teams and supporters are eager to see how the matches unfold.
