Three students from two different schools were apprehended yesterday in connection with drug possession. Assistant Commissioner of Police, Livai Driu, commended the teachers for their proactive role in helping to ensure safety within the school community. “We applaud the teachers, one of our key stakeholders, who are assisting us in keeping everyone safe, and we will allow the law to take its course,” stated ACP Driu.

Additionally, another school is currently under investigation after the school manager discovered smoking paraphernalia in the dining hall and promptly reported the incident to the police.

This situation highlights the crucial collaboration between law enforcement and educational institutions. By working together, they can create a safer environment for students. The proactive measures taken by the teachers and administrators reflect a collective commitment to addressing drug-related issues in schools, which can significantly impact the well-being of the youth. It is hopeful that these actions will lead to a more vigilant and supportive community for students.
