Three students from two separate schools were apprehended yesterday for possession of illegal drugs. Assistant Commissioner of Police Livai Driu praised the teachers for their cooperation in this matter, emphasizing their vital role in ensuring the safety of the community.
“We commend the teachers, one of our key stakeholders, for their efforts in helping us maintain safety, and we will allow the legal process to unfold,” stated ACP Driu.
Additionally, a different school is currently under investigation. This comes after the school’s management discovered smoking paraphernalia in the dining area and promptly reported the incident to the police.
This ongoing situation highlights the importance of collaboration between law enforcement and educational institutions in addressing substance use among students. It reflects a proactive approach toward ensuring a safe learning environment, which is crucial for the well-being of all students.
In the face of challenges like these, there remains hope that such efforts will not only deter substance abuse but also foster a culture of responsibility and care within schools. With continued vigilance and cooperation, communities can work together to create safer spaces for their youth.
