Thirteen individuals, including three students, were apprehended for possessing illegal drugs yesterday. The Assistant Commissioner of Police Operations, Livai Driu, noted that this marked the beginning of their festive season operations, with further arrests anticipated as the initiative progresses.

ACP Driu expressed concern over the involvement of students, emphasizing the crucial role teachers play in maintaining safety at schools. He praised them for their support in this matter and assured that the legal processes would proceed accordingly.

Additionally, a separate school is under investigation after the discovery of smoking paraphernalia in the dining hall, which was reported to the police by the school manager.

Currently, all suspects remain in police custody, along with the seized drugs, as the investigation continues.
