A man has been arrested for allegedly receiving stolen property. A Southern Division operations team conducted a raid at the suspect’s residence in Cunningham on Friday, where they recovered electronic items and other valuables believed to be stolen.
Assistant Commissioner of Police – Operations (ACP) Livai Driu stated that ongoing investigations are focused on identifying individuals who receive stolen goods in order to reduce theft and robbery incidents. ACP Driu noted that criminals tend to target items that can be easily sold for cash, including mobile phones, tablets, smartwatches, laptops, and jewelry. Those involved in such activities are being closely monitored by the police.
The suspect is currently in custody at the Nabua Police Station.
