Billie Eilish and Finneas have publicly backed Kamala Harris for president, opposing Donald Trump.
In a shared video on Instagram, the Grammy and Oscar-winning siblings marked National Voter Registration Day by urging their followers to register, vote early, and support the Harris-Tim Walz ticket.
Eilish stated, “We are voting for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz because they are fighting to protect our reproductive freedom, our planet and our democracy.”
Finneas emphasized the importance of voting, saying, “We can’t let extremists control our lives, our freedoms and our future. The only way to stop them and the dangerous Project 2025 agenda is to vote and elect Kamala Harris.”
Eilish concluded with a strong message, urging viewers to “Vote like your life depends on it, because it does.”
They join a growing list of music celebrities supporting Harris, including Taylor Swift, who voiced her support after the first presidential debate between Harris and Trump. Swift expressed that Harris “fights for the rights and causes I believe need a warrior to champion them” and praised her as a “steady-handed, gifted leader.”
Hillary Clinton recently emphasized the significance of celebrity endorsements in motivating voters. She noted that Swift’s influence on her fanbase is profound, stating, “Her fanbase is so intense and incredibly influenced by her.” Clinton described Swift as a resilient figure who conveys a powerful message through her actions and advocacy.
