Mosese Nabose, a versatile player with the Bula Boys, is set to represent last season’s finalists, the Manukau All Stars, in the upcoming 2024 Flick Hygiene Pacific Community Cup held in Lautoka. Nabose will be joining fellow team members, including Tailevu Naitasiri striker France Catarogo and goalkeeper Sitiveni Matalaba, both of whom will bring additional experience and skill to the squad.
The All Stars are already fortified with notable veterans such as defender Aeron Singh, alongside promising talents like Jeshal Kumar, Richard Swamy, Shivneel Singh, and Ni-Vanuatu goal-scorer Alex Saniel. The team, managed by coach Bobby Khan, includes several other key players: goalkeeper Joshua Precious, Trent Mayes, Garbhan Coughian, Ethan Smith, Aaron O’Driscoll, Liam Bailey, Jack Caunter, Joseph Hoole, and Alejandro Steinwascher.
Tonight at 8:45 PM, the NZFFI Manukau All Stars will kick off their tournament against the hosts, Lautoka, who are the current champions in both the Fiji FACT and the Battle of Giants.
This exciting matchup not only showcases top-tier football talent but also highlights the growing competitive spirit among Pacific teams in regional tournaments. Fans are hopeful that the Manukau All Stars will make a significant mark in this year’s cup, building on their previous success and demonstrating the depth of talent within Pacific football.
