Outside back Salesi Rayasi has ended his time with the Hurricanes by signing a two-year contract with French club Vannes.

The winger departs the Wellington-based team after an impressive stint, during which he played 50 games.

At 27 years old, Rayasi will lose his eligibility to play for the All Blacks due to this move.

Nevertheless, Rayasi is open to the possibility of representing the Flying Fijians and embracing his father’s heritage. His father, Filipe Rayasi, was a Fijian international who played fullback for the national team 13 times.
