A 24-year-old man is currently in custody at the Totogo Police Station in connection with the death of a 25-year-old man in Suva city on Saturday night. Reports indicate that the incident stemmed from a heated argument between the two individuals, which escalated into a physical altercation during which the suspect allegedly stabbed the victim.
The victim was quickly transported to the Colonial War Memorial Hospital for urgent medical treatment but unfortunately succumbed to his injuries. A post-mortem examination is scheduled to take place today to determine the exact cause of death.
