Speed Meets Spirit: Fiji’s Rugby Revolution at the Marist 7s!

Dominion Brothers are set to electrify the upcoming Fiji Bitter Marist 7s tournament, with Fiji’s top sprinter and Olympian Waisake Tewa joining their squad. Tewa, renowned for his prowess in the 100m and 200m events and a representative at the Paris Olympics, brings a distinctive speed element to the team’s offensive strategy as he is also a nominee for the upcoming 2025 Fiji Sportsman of the Year award.

The squad boasts additional promising rugby talents, including ascending players like Josese Batirerega, Iliavi Masori, and Aisea Nawai, who is part of the Fijian Drua development squad. The team will be captain led by Nacani Boginisoko, with Tawake Tisolo serving as vice-captain. Other members of the squad include Ratu Kinijoji Siliyadua, Mosese Nokelala, Alipate Qaraniqio, Vilivo Eroni, Isoa Loroiwaqa, William Underwood, Iowane Qalita, and Apisalome Naivuca.

The highly anticipated 49th Fiji Bitter Marist 7s will commence tomorrow at the HFC Bank Stadium in Suva, concluding on Saturday. Matches will be broadcast live and exclusively on Viti+ for a fee of FJD 69.

This tournament is expected to attract considerable attention, especially with an increasing number of teams participating to showcase their capabilities and elevate their standing in the Fiji Bitter series.
