The Fiji Water Flying Fijians are gearing up for a promising November tour in Europe, highlighted by the inclusion of former All Black Pita Gus Sowakula in their squad. This announcement, made by team manager Josaia Tuinamata at Rugby House, comes as part of the team’s effort to enhance their competitive edge ahead of a series of critical matches against England and France.
Sowakula’s selection marks a significant moment as he comes off a three-year stand-down period following his last appearance with the All Blacks in July 2022. His addition to the 32-member squad is expected to bolster the team’s forward pack, particularly at the number eight position.
