A southern derby in the Digicel Fiji Premier League Round 15 ended in a thrilling 2-2 draw between Navua and Suva at the Uprising Sports Centre in Pacific Harbour.
Navua opened the scoring with a goal from Kolinio Sivoki, whose free-kick took a deflection off a Suva defender and found the back of the net. However, the visitors quickly responded; Gagame Feni from the Solomon Islands showcased his skills by scoring two goals, giving Suva a 2-1 lead at halftime.
In the second half, veteran player Simione Damuni found the net for Navua, bringing the score level with a well-executed finish.
Despite the draw, the standings for both teams remained unchanged. Navua holds the sixth position with 20 points, while Suva sits in seventh place with 16 points.
