Stephen Swanepoel from South Africa emerged as the amateur champion at the Coastal Rental Natadola Open Golf 2024, finishing with a score of 76. He secured his victory over Melbourne’s Adish Kumar, who placed second.
Roneel Parkash, the assistant manager at Denarau Golf Club, claimed the professional category title, surpassing Sam Lee, who is currently residing in South Korea. Parkash expressed his excitement about returning to Natadola Bay, looking forward to the upcoming Fiji Open.
Avinesh Datt, the manager of the Natadola Golf Course, noted the excellent weather conditions that contributed to the success of the tournament. He extended his gratitude to all sponsors for their support and promised that next year’s event would be even more impressive. Datt also acknowledged the ground staff for maintaining the course in excellent condition, as well as the pro-shop and clubhouse operations teams for their hard work.
In addition to the main winners, other notable awards included Suruj Maharaj winning the Men’s Overall Nett with a score of 69, while Jack Butler took first in the Men’s A Grade with a score of 72. Ben Herter won the Men’s B Grade with 71, Rajeev Patel won the Men’s C Grade with 76, Amy Subam emerged as the Ladies Gross Winner with 93, and Susie Yee took home the Ladies Overall Nett title with a score of 86.
