South African Golfer Triumphs at Natadola Open 2024!

Stephen Swanepoel from South Africa has emerged as the amateur champion at the Coastal Rental Natadola Open Golf 2024. He secured his victory by scoring 76 on the final five holes, with Melbourne-based Adish Kumar finishing in second place.

In the professional category, Roneel Parkash, the assistant manager at Denarau Golf Club, clinched the title, defeating Sam Lee, who currently resides in South Korea. Parkash expressed his excitement, stating, “Good feeling going back to Natadola Bay. Fiji Open next.”

Avinesh Datt, the manager of the Natadola Golf course, highlighted the excellent weather conditions that contributed to the success of the event. He extended his gratitude to all sponsors and pledged that next year’s event would be even larger and more impressive. Datt also acknowledged the ground staff and clubhouse operations for their hard work in maintaining the course.

In addition to the main awards, other notable winners included Suruj Maharaj for Men’s Overall Nett with a score of 69, Jack Butler as the Men’s A Grade winner with 72, Ben Herter as the Men’s B Grade winner at 71, Rajeev Patel for the Men’s C Grade with a score of 76, Amy Subam as the Ladies Gross Winner with 93, and Susie Yee who won the Ladies Overall Nett with a score of 86.
