During his interim period, Nata achieved several notable milestones, including the establishment of the i-Taukei Wealth Fund and the Land Development facility. These initiatives aim to provide substantial support to landowning units, enhancing their economic opportunities and sustainable development.

“The Board has observed significant advancements under Mr. Nata’s leadership over the past year. We are confident in his ability to continue driving TLTB towards greater achievements and fulfilling the Board’s mandate more effectively,” Vasu stated.

Nata has made significant contributions to the review of laws and policies impacting the iTaukei people. His efforts have helped restore trust and strengthen relationships with chiefs and landowners. He has also enhanced the corporate framework, improving job security and capacity building for management and staff through comprehensive job evaluations. His initiatives include adopting new policies, diversifying investments for landowners, and facilitating the acquisition of TLTB buildings in various regions.
