Solar Partnership Set to Cut Carbon Emissions and Boost Savings

A significant solar energy project has been established between Vision Energy Solutions, a solar power service provider, and CJ Patel and Company Pte, a wholesale trader. This collaboration aims to produce approximately 632.84 megawatt-hours of electricity each year.

Launched on July 22, 2024, the initiative plans to implement a 380.16kW solar capacity system, which is anticipated to yield around 632.84 MWh annually. This arrangement is projected to result in utility savings of about 563.50 MWh per year and decrease annual carbon emissions by 224.26 tonnes.

Sanjesh Prasad, the Chief Executive Officer of Vision Energy Solutions, noted that the partnership with CJ Patel was the culmination of 24 months of intensive discussions and careful evaluations. He expressed enthusiasm about the opportunities this project will create.

The endeavor aligns with Vision Energy’s mission to provide sustainable energy solutions while demonstrating a commitment to environmental responsibility and the promotion of renewable energy sources. Mr. Prasad emphasized that this contract represents more than just a business agreement; it signifies the start of a significant partnership.

He added, “We foresee great potential for future projects that will benefit both our companies and contribute to a sustainable future for Fiji and beyond.” CJ Patel finalized the agreement earlier this month, marking an important milestone in its dedication to renewable energy initiatives.
