Ratu Filimoni Soqeta has been elected as the new president of the Social Democratic Liberal Party (SODELPA), marking a significant leadership change during the party’s Annual General Meeting held in Suva on Saturday. In addition to Soqeta, Ratu Ramesio Qarau and Ratu Epeli Tuisese were appointed as vice presidents, reinforcing the party’s commitment to nurturing fresh leadership.
SODELPA’s Party Leader Aseri Radrodro expressed his full confidence in the newly elected officials, emphasizing their vital role in guiding the party into the upcoming 2026 General Election.
