Sky Pacific has secured the Pay TV rights to broadcast every match of the Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific across Fiji and the Pacific from 2026 to 2028. This announcement was made by the Fijian Drua in conjunction with the Competition Rights Holders, shortly after the Drua unveiled their new Hybrid Broadcast Model. This model aims to broaden access for fans by segmenting Free-to-Air, Pay TV, and digital streaming options.
With this agreement, Sky Pacific will air all 77 regular season matches, every Fijian Drua game, along with three qualifying finals, two semi-finals, and the grand final. This ensures that rugby enthusiasts will have the opportunity to experience every moment of live action.
The partnership emphasizes Sky Pacific’s longstanding relationship with Super Rugby, which spans nearly three decades and has significantly influenced rugby viewership in Fiji and the surrounding areas. Mark Evans, CEO of Fijian Drua, expressed confidence in the arrangement, highlighting that it guarantees reliable, high-quality coverage for fans. He noted, “Sky Pacific has been a trusted broadcaster of Super Rugby Pacific for the past 30 years and subscribers will be delighted to know that this will remain the case for the next three seasons. Their platform gives fans high-quality, uninterrupted live coverage of every match — a perfect complement to our free-to-air and digital streaming options.”
Digicel Fiji CEO Farid Mohammed echoed this sentiment, stating that fans can look forward to a smooth viewing experience as the 2026 season approaches. He added, “We’re excited to bring the entire Super Rugby Pacific 2026 season for every thrilling moment across Fiji live. With DTV’s flexibility to stream on any device and Sky Pacific’s affordable sign-up and reconnect offers, we’re making it easier than ever for everyone to enjoy world-class rugby action.”
The excitement builds as the 2026 Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific season is set to kick off on 14 February 2026, featuring the Drua’s first match against Moana Pasifika at Churchill Park in Lautoka. Fans can catch the live coverage on FBC Sports, marking the beginning of an exhilarating season backed by a robust broadcast lineup. This development not only highlights the commitment to bringing top-tier rugby to fans but also strengthens the connection between the sport and its supporters in the region.
