Six-Stop Fiji Bitter 7s Series Kicks Off 2025-2026

The 2025-2026 Fiji Bitter 7s Series was officially launched recently, featuring six major tournaments scheduled from November 2025 to March 2026. This marks the series’ third consecutive season, emphasizing the ongoing commitment to grassroots rugby development in Fiji.

The series will commence with the Fiji Bitter Yalivata 7s taking place from November 28 to 29, followed by the Wairiki 7s on December 11 to 13. The subsequent tournaments include the Service Rugby 7s in Labasa from January 8 to 10, the Savusavu 7s on February 5-7, and the Nawaka 7s from March 13 to 14. The series will culminate with the much-anticipated Marist 7s event, running from March 26 to 28.

Etrina Simpson, the head of marketing at Coca-Cola Europacific Partners (Fiji) PTE Ltd, highlighted Fiji Bitter’s strong ties to local rugby and its role in bringing communities together. “Rugby is a unifying force that brings our communities together. By investing in this series, we are helping nurture the next generation of rugby stars while celebrating the spirit and pride that make Fijian rugby so special,” she stated.

In partnership with local organizations and rugby clubs, Fiji Bitter aims to ensure a safe and exciting environment for both players and fans throughout the series. Further details regarding tournament schedules, participating teams, and special event highlights are expected to be announced in the weeks ahead.
