Four Ecuadorian individuals, alongside two locals, faced charges at the Rakiraki Magistrates Court this morning in connection with the significant seizure of 2,630 parcels in the Tavua region.
The local defendants include Bainivalu Suguturaga, a 24-year-old unemployed individual from Veisaru, Ba, and Munendra, a 32-year-old carrier operator from the same area. The Ecuadorians involved in the case are Luciano Sanchez, 47; Jonathan Bermello, 30; Ramon Parraga, 52; and Alejandro Gonzalez, 47, all of whom are fishermen from Ecuador.
