Reflecting on their challenging yet rewarding path, Makelesi shared, “It hasn’t been easy juggling work and studies, but we’re thankful to God for being the source of wisdom and knowledge throughout this journey.” They are trailblazers in their extended family, being the first to attain such qualifications, and they expressed hope that their success will inspire others to pursue new fields of education.

Both sisters currently practice at Aspen Medical in Lautoka, driven by their passion for patient care. Makelesi emphasized, “You have to be knowledgeable and compassionate to provide quality care daily.” Adi Nunia cited her son as her primary inspiration, stating, “I’ve seen the struggles my parents endured for me and my four siblings. I want to be an inspiration to others, especially my son.” She aims to set a benchmark for him to strive towards.

They acknowledged the valuable support from senior healthcare professionals and underscored the importance of perseverance. “While the course was challenging and time-consuming, anything is possible if you put your mind to it—especially when God is at the center of it all,” they affirmed.

This inspiring story of determination and achievement showcases how hard work can lead to personal and professional milestones. Adi Nunia and Makelesi’s journey serves as a beacon of hope for aspiring medical professionals, illustrating the potential impact of family support and divine guidance in realizing one’s dreams.
