Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka emphasized the importance of closer collaboration with the European Union during the 53rd Pacific Islands Forum Leaders Meeting in Tonga. Speaking at the Pacific ACP (PACP) Leaders Dialogue regarding the Samoa Agreement, he acknowledged the EU’s vital role as a significant development partner for both Fiji and the broader Pacific region.
Rabuka highlighted that Fiji recently held its inaugural EU Partnership Dialogue in April under the Samoa Agreement and commended the Pacific Islands Forum Secretariat for its support to the Pacific ACP members.
