Sigatoka Methodist College triumphed in the Weetbix Raluve U16 Final, decisively beating Niusawa Methodist High School with a score of 20-0.
SMC established their dominance early in the match with a well-executed try, although the conversion attempt was unsuccessful. They quickly followed up with another try, further asserting their control of the game. As the first half concluded, SMC had increased their lead to 15-0 with a third try.
Despite not converting any attempts, SMC’s defense proved impenetrable, keeping NMHS scoreless. The second half saw a more balanced contest; however, SMC managed to add one more try, finalizing the score at 20-0.
Niusawa Methodist High School found it difficult to overcome SMC’s strong defense, resulting in the score remaining the same. Ultimately, Sigatoka Methodist College celebrated their well-earned 20-0 victory, securing the championship title.
