Sigatoka Methodist College celebrated a decisive victory in the Weetbix Raluve U16 Final, defeating Niusawa Methodist High School with a score of 20-0.
SMC set an early pace in the match, scoring the first try to take an initial lead. While they missed the conversion, they quickly followed up with another try, reinforcing their control over the game. As the first half concluded, SMC increased their advantage to 15-0 with a third try. Despite failing to convert any of their tries, SMC’s defense remained steadfast, preventing NMHS from scoring.
The second half saw more competition, but SMC managed to add another try, finalizing the score at 20-0. NMHS struggled to penetrate SMC’s solid defensive line, and the final score remained untouched. Sigatoka Methodist College concluded the match with a well-earned championship title.
