SMC established their dominance early in the match, scoring a try and taking the lead. Although they missed the conversion, they quickly added another try, reinforcing their control of the game. By the end of the first half, SMC had increased their lead to 15-0 with a third try. Their defense proved impenetrable, keeping NMHS from scoring at all.
The second half saw a more balanced contest, yet SMC managed to score once more, concluding the match with a final score of 20-0. NMHS found it difficult to penetrate SMC’s strong defense, and the score remained unchanged throughout the second half. Ultimately, Sigatoka Methodist College celebrated a well-earned victory, securing the championship title.
