Sigatoka Methodist College triumphed in the Weetbix Raluve U16 Final, defeating Niusawa Methodist High School with a decisive score of 20-0.
SMC started strong, quickly crossing the try line to take an early lead. Although they missed the conversion, they soon added another try, reinforcing their control of the game. By the end of the first half, SMC had extended their lead to 15-0 with a third try. Despite unsuccessful attempts at conversions, their defensive play was impressive, keeping NMHS from scoring.
The second half saw a more balanced contest, yet SMC was able to secure another try, concluding the match with a final score of 20-0. NMHS struggled to penetrate SMC’s resilient defense, leaving the scoreboard unchanged.
Ultimately, Sigatoka Methodist College celebrated a well-earned victory, claiming the championship title.
