SMC established their dominance early by crossing the try line to take an early lead. Although their first conversion attempt was unsuccessful, they quickly added another try to strengthen their position. As the first half came to an end, SMC increased their lead to 15-0 with a third try.
Despite failing to convert any of their tries, SMC’s robust defense kept NMHS from scoring throughout the match. The second half saw a more competitive exchange, yet SMC still managed to score once more, concluding the match at 20-0. NMHS found it difficult to penetrate SMC’s defense, and the final score remained intact.
Ultimately, Sigatoka Methodist College celebrated a well-earned championship title with their impressive 20-0 win.
