Sigatoka Methodist College claimed the championship title in the Weetbix Raluve U16 Final by overpowering Niusawa Methodist High School with a decisive 20-0 victory.
SMC set an early tone in the match, successfully crossing the try line to take the lead. Although they missed the conversion, they quickly followed up with another try, establishing their dominance on the field. By the end of the first half, SMC had increased their lead to 15-0 with a third try. Despite failing to convert any of their tries, SMC’s defense was impenetrable, keeping NMHS off the scoreboard.
The second half saw a more balanced contest, but SMC added another try to their tally, concluding the match with a final score of 20-0. NMHS found it challenging to navigate through SMC’s formidable defense, resulting in no change to the score. Ultimately, Sigatoka Methodist College celebrated their well-earned victory.
