Shop N Save Supermarket, a prominent name in Fiji’s retail landscape, has inaugurated its newest branch in Nausori, enriching the community with both shopping options and employment opportunities. The opening follows a significant $10 million investment aimed at fulfilling the evolving needs of residents in the greater province of Rewa, Tailevu, and Naitasiri.

This newly launched facility marks the 17th outlet for Shop N Save across Fiji and notably, the first within Nausori. CEO Nisheel Deo emphasized the company’s dedication to enhancing local communities, stating, “We are proud to invest in Nausori and create employment while offering affordable, high-quality products.”

The Nausori branch has already created over 50 jobs, and the supermarket has committed to sustaining local hiring as it continues to expand its workforce. The supermarket features a three-storey design, with the main shopping area located on the top floor. Customers have expressed their appreciation for the store’s spaciousness, wide aisles, and friendly staff. One customer, Laite Baravi from Lokia Village, commented on the convenience of the new location: “It’s nice to have more choices close to home, and we get to use the elevator and ramp with our loaded trolleys. It’s accessible.”

The opening of this branch signifies another important step in Shop N Save’s nationwide growth strategy, solidifying its position as a key contributor to Fiji’s retail sector. The investment not only aims to provide residents with greater shopping options but also to foster economic development in the region through job creation and community engagement.
