Shop N Save Fijian Warriors unveil 32-man squad for Nadi clash with Australian Country

Three players from Kadavu, Taveuni, and Navosa have earned spots in the Shop N Save Fijian Warriors extended squad ahead of their match against the Australian Country team next Thursday in Nadi. Head coach Cohen Politini has named a total of 32 players, three of whom are standout representatives from the Vanua Championship: Savenaca Durusolo, a fullback from Kadavu; Sevuloni Tawake from Navosa; and Amani Tunaka, a halfback from Taveuni.

The remainder of the squad comprises players from various Skipper Cup teams, highlighting talents from Naitasiri, Suva, Ba, Nadi, Lautoka, Nadroga, and Tailevu. In particular, Naitasiri is represented by prominent players including Breyton Legge, hooker Osea Dasalusalu, and Marika Natau, among others. Suva contributes talents like Mataiasi Tuisireli and Inoke Ravuiwasa, while Nadroga features Nedly Grant and Sakiusa Vosayaco. Notably, Anare Tabakaucoro is the sole representative from Tailevu.

This upcoming clash against the Australian Country team will take place at Nadi’s Prince Charles Park, an opportunity for these players to showcase their skills on a broader platform. The match is seen as a significant step in fostering rugby talent in Fiji, allowing local players to compete against international teams and gain invaluable experience.
