Supermarket chain Shop N Save has officially renewed its partnership with the Swire Shipping Fijian Drua for the upcoming three seasons of the Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific competition. The signing ceremony took place earlier today at the Matua Room in the Grand Pacific Hotel in Suva.

The agreement was signed by Jeff Miller, the chief executive of the Fijian Drua, Nisheel Kisun, CEO of Shop N Save Supermarket, and Shane Hussein, the general manager of the Fijian Drua, with legal representative Elenoa Leweni present as a witness.

During the event, Miller expressed the importance of the support from local companies like Shop N Save, emphasizing that such partnerships are crucial for the club’s success and performance. “We could not do this without the support of companies like Shop N Save,” he stated, reflecting the club’s commitment to the partnership.

Kisun echoed these sentiments, noting how the Fijian Drua encapsulates essential qualities that unite communities within Fiji and beyond. He remarked on the significant growth of the Drua since the partnership began, highlighting its emergence as a powerful competitor in the Super Rugby Pacific competition that continues to inspire young athletes and fans alike.

As the anticipation builds, the new season of the Super Rugby Pacific competition is set to kick off on Saturday, February 14. The Swire Shipping Fijian Drua will open their season against Moana Pasifika at Churchill Park in Lautoka, starting at 3.30 pm. The renewed partnership is a promising sign for both the Fijian Drua and the supporting community as they prepare for an exciting season ahead.
