A 28-year-old man has been charged with the rape of his 5-year-old niece, according to the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (ODPP). The man was among ten individuals facing a total of 25 sexual offense charges in the month of September.
The ODPP reported that there were ten victims last month, with eight of them under the age of 18. Additionally, there were six cases where the victims and the accused were related.
In a separate incident, a 29-year-old man was charged with two counts of rape and one count of sexual assault against his 15-year-old niece.
Another case involved a 46-year-old man facing two counts of rape of his 41-year-old wife.
A 20-year-old man was charged with multiple offenses, including four counts of rape, one count of attempted rape, two counts of indecent assault, and one count of sexual assault against his 17-year-old cousin.
In another instance, a 20-year-old man was charged with the rape of his 10-year-old male cousin. Additionally, a 25-year-old man was charged with the rape and sexual assault of a 14-year-old boy.
There was also a report of a 29-year-old man charged with attempted rape and sexual assault of a 14-year-old girl from his village, while another 20-year-old was charged with the rape of an 11-year-old girl from his village.
