A 28-year-old man has been charged with the rape of his 5-year-old niece, according to the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions. This individual is one of ten people who faced charges for a total of 25 sexual offenses last month.
The ODPP reported that there were ten victims involved, eight of whom were under the age of 18. Additionally, six cases involved victims and accused individuals who were related.
In other related cases, a 29-year-old man has been charged with two counts of rape and one count of sexual assault against his 15-year-old niece. Meanwhile, a 46-year-old man faces two counts of rape against his 41-year-old wife.
In another incident, a 20-year-old man has been charged with four counts of rape, one count of attempted rape, two counts of indecent assault, and one count of sexual assault against his 17-year-old cousin. Additionally, a 20-year-old man has been charged with the rape of his 10-year-old male cousin.
A 25-year-old man has also been charged with the rape and sexual assault of a 14-year-old boy. In two more cases, a 29-year-old man is facing charges of attempted rape and sexual assault against a 14-year-old girl, and a 20-year-old man has been charged with the rape of an 11-year-old girl, both from the same village.
