A 26-year-old man and a 24-year-old woman are facing manslaughter charges due to a failure to fulfill their parental duties. The charges were filed by the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions after the couple neglected to seek medical treatment for their seriously ill daughter, who was just 18 months old, ultimately leading to her death.
In a separate case, a 25-year-old man has been charged with murdering his 59-year-old grandmother. The man reportedly assaulted the victim with a cane knife, which caused her fatal injuries.
