Authorities are looking into a break-in that took place at the official residence of the Commissioner of the Fiji Corrections Service (FCS) in Nasese. Police spokesperson Ana Naisoro confirmed that the incident occurred on September 29, despite the property being heavily secured and monitored by FCS personnel. As of now, no arrests have been made.
FCS Commissioner Jalesi Nakarawa informed this publication that a room was ransacked during the break-in, and traditional artifacts, specifically a whale’s tooth or tabua, were taken. He also stated that there were no injuries reported during the incident.
