The Sheraton Fiji Golf Resort and Spa has officially inaugurated the festive season with the unveiling of what is claimed to be the largest gingerbread house in the South Pacific, according to hotel manager Yvo Alexander Van Dijk. The impressive structure, measuring an extraordinary 55 meters in length and 30 meters in width, was revealed on December 5 and has become a centerpiece in the resort’s lobby.

Mr. Van Dijk highlighted the gingerbread house’s remarkable scale and emphasized the resort’s commitment to creating an inclusive and joyful gathering space for both local residents and international visitors during this festive time. “We have the biggest gingerbread house of the South Pacific, and this is the biggest gingerbread house in the history of Fiji,” he stated, noting that the construction involved nearly a thousand kilograms of gingerbread.

The hotel manager underscored the Sheraton’s reputation as a global gathering place, where guests can mingle with locals and experience the rich culture of Fiji. “You can meet and greet locals and international travelers, fostering a unique sense of community,” he added.

Additionally, Mr. Van Dijk boasted that the quality of food and beverages at the resort stands unmatched anywhere else globally. The Sheraton Fiji Golf Resort and Spa continues to invite guests to enjoy a warm and festive atmosphere, promoting togetherness and memorable experiences this holiday season.
