Fijian Holdings Limited (FHL) is celebrating its 40th anniversary by distributing a $2 million special dividend to its shareholders. FHL Group CEO Jaoji Koroi made the announcement during a soft launch event in Suva. Koroi noted the special dividend not only marked the company’s milestone, but also expressed gratitude towards the shareholders for their years of support and continuous growth.
This sentiment was echoed by FHL Group Chairman Rokoseru Nabalarua, who underscored this milestone as a testament to their commitment, effective governance and endeavor for shareholder value creation. The founding CEO of FHL, Sitiveni Weleilakeba, also congratulated Koroi and his team, acknowledging the sustainable growth path that FHL has embarked upon. He mentioned that the announced dividend is indicative of the company’s strength and growth.
Formal celebrations will happen in conjunction with the launch of the FHL Tower slated for later this year. FHL, a public company listed on the South Pacific Stock Exchange, has dispensed $142 million in dividends since its inception four decades ago. The official record closure for shareholders to avail of the special dividend payment is set for July 17, with the payment scheduled for July 25.
