Weather Update
Coming straight from the National Weather Forecasting Centre in Nadi at 7:30 PM on Monday, February 24, 2025.
Before we dive into the forecast, let’s take a moment to send our best wishes to Tropical Cyclone Rae, who’s been making quite a scene lately. She’s the diva of the weather world and has everyone buzzing! For details, check out the special bulletin about her antics at the RSMC Nadi Tropical Cyclone Warning Centre.
Now, what’s brewing for the lovely Fiji group until midnight tomorrow?
For Navua, Suva, and Nausori: Rae is expected to grace you with her presence, so stay tuned for more on that.
In Nadi, Lautoka, and Ba: It’s all about Rae as well. She seems to be the belle of the ball this week!
Sigatoka and the Coral Coast: Yup, you guessed it, Rae is coming your way too!
For Tavua and Rakiraki: Don’t worry; Rae is taking a slight detour your way.
If you’re in the Yasawa/Mamanuca group: Brace yourselves; it’s a Rae kind of day!
Labasa, you’re not escaping either. Rae will make sure you don’t miss out.
Savusavu folks, grab your raincoats; it looks like Rae is making plans to visit you too!
For the islands of Lau and Lomaiviti: Guess what? Rae has a ticket with your name on it.
Kadavu, get your weatherproof gear ready; Rae is on her way!
And for Rotuma: Hold onto your hats! There’s a STRONG WIND WARNING in effect. Expect gusty northerly winds reaching speeds of up to 50 km/h. The seas will have their own flair, going rough to very rough, so if you were planning a leisurely swim, maybe save it for another day.
Expect cloudy skies with some showers gracing your territory.
Looking ahead to Wednesday, anticipate more cloudy periods with those lovely little showers sprinkling your day. Stay dry, stay safe, and remember to keep an eye on our star, Tropical Cyclone Rae!
